“The Monkey’s Paw” by W.W. Jacobs is an interesting short story that deals with mysterious monkey’s paw and its impact on the Whites family. Mr. White, Mrs. White and their son Herbert were the only three members of the White Family who were spending a stormy night inside their cozy house when the story began. The father and the son were occupied with a game of chess while Mrs. White was busy with her knitting.
